The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you  finally  made  the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq  to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean  more quality to the paintings, am i right?. 
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only  to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

1. I'm a guy! (99% of the people who assume my gender call me she/her, when I have my gender marked as male on my profile.)

2. I never think my own art is good enough. (Because it isn't. I mean... Have you seen it??)

3. I get very discouraged when I see art that is better than mine. (It should motivate me, but it doesn't...)

4. I only actually watch the deviations of like 5 of the 30 groups I'm in. (It's just too much stuff otherwise.)

5. I LOVE fanart. (It motivates me more than anything else because it tells me that a person likes one of my characters so much that they took time out of their day to draw her.)

6. I've always got my slinky handy! (Seriously, I bought a nice metal one for $3 like 2 years ago, and it hasn't left my side since. I'm always flopping it around. Best. Toy. Ever.)

7. My room is in the attic! (It's nice and quiet up there with no one to wake me up, so I get lots of sleep.)

8. I [usually] NEVER EVER get angry. (The only people who know how to get on my nerves are my immediate family. Other than that, you can call me names, punch me in the face, or burn my house down[please don't] and I'd laugh it off.)

9. I translate anime and have co-founded a fansub group. (Check us out! [link]
